BIENVENUE!!
WELCOME!!
Thanks for visiting our club's site.
We invite you to join us in our fine wine discoveries.
Our goal is to bring great wines from France to our friends in North America.
Our Story:
We became friends In the early 90's and quickly discovered we shared a passion for great French wine, specifically Bordeaux. This shared passion for Bordeaux grew into trips to France with our wives and sons. One afternoon, while enjoying a bottle of wine at a restaurant in Margaux, France, we came up with the idea for B & B's.
We marveled at the great wines we were drinking while in France - most of which are never exported to North America - and wondered how to get these wines to our friends in North America.
There are thousands of wines in France that are not exported to the United States. We decided to share our love and passion for these great wines with our friends, and the idea of B&B's French Wine Club was born.
We travel to France every year to search out great (not currently imported) wines for our member and friends. We invite you to take a look at our club and to join us in enjoying these great wines of France.

Why B & B’s ???
Our members get their wine for cost + shipping from France, and EVEN IF THEY COULD ACQUIRE THESE WINES IN THE UNITED STATES (none are imported) we estimate they would cost three times what they cost in the club.
How can we do this.............simple!
We avoid the three-tiered system where the importer, wholesaler and wine shop all mark the wine up 30-40% above their cost.
The wines we select for our members would sell at retail in North America at a price far above the average cost to club members.
For instance, a wine we purchase directly from the Chateau for 20 Euros, would retail in the United States for approximately $60 with the markups for all three tiers.
The Basics:
B&B's is structured on the Costco model. You pay a yearly membership fee, and receive all the selected fine wine at cost + shipping.
Members receive four cases of wine (48 bottles), six bottles of each of our eight annual selections.
The price target for the wines + shipping is 700 Euros. (The dollar cost will fluctuate with exchange rate.)
The annual membership fee is $500.
Futures: The best way to build your cellar is by purchasing "futures." You purchase the wine while it is still in oak barrels and receive it when it is bottled. In good vintages (like 2000 and 2005) the big Chateau wines are very difficult to obtain outside of futures offerings. Through our strong contact in Bordeaux we are able to offer an excellent selection of Bordeaux Futures at very reasonable prices. These wines will be offered exclusively to our members.
Special "Finds": We are constantly on the lookout for exceptional wines that will be a great addition to our members' cellars. Last year we were able to obtain a small allotment of 1982 Chateau Larruau at a great price. This is a fantastic addition to anyone's collection from an outstanding vintage. This year we have discovered a remarkable Burgundy and have purchased one of only two barrels made for our members. These extraordinary wines are only available to club members.
Re-order: When you receive a wine you want more of (and I'm sure there will be many) you will have the option to order more at the special club price.
Travel: We invite members to join us in France as we visit both the great chateaux of Bordeaux as well as the small wineries in Burgundy and Provence. You'll visit the small towns and wineries, as well as stay at some of my favorite places and delight in fabulous French food.
